River rafting has been classified in to six different categories. Theses categories are based on the level of river difficulty. Class 1 is described as the easiest with no maneuvering. You practically do not need any skills in this category. Class 6 is the most difficult class of water rafting. For rafting in this category you need advanced white water skills.
North Umpqa River is famous for its rapids. It has excellent sites with rapids. Rapids in the Umpqa River have been rated from class 1 to class 5. It is suggested to use the services of permitted rafting guides. Rouge River also provide challenging environment for white water rafting. In this river also you enjoy rafting challenges from Class 1 to class 5.
