I used to strongly consider free gift ideas offered to internet users as nothing more than spamming. I had always ignored the offers like free ipod coming my way and have always deleted related emails, without even reading them once. However, it was last month that I had to change my thought process towards this offers. And now, I do believe that some of these offers are genuine.

I have a 14 years old son, who always used to search for free contests, free wallpapers, free music downloads and everything else labelled as free. As a concerned father, I always used to prohibit him from doing so.

However, he proved me wrong by bringing home a free PSP from a branded company. I was not able to believe my eyes on seeing this outstanding product and that too free of cost.

Now, I have all good reasons to regret for my decision of skipping all those offers related to free ipods and even, mobile phones like free N95. I think I need to learn from my little champ, how to locate these genuine offers on Internet.

As far as this free PSP is concerned, he won it by joining an online gaming website, which was offering this free gift to first 10 members and he was one of them. He signed up with the website and was included in the list of first 10 members to become the part of this upcoming online gaming portal. He talks about his next target, which is a free ds offered by another website.
